SPRING CLEANING AT CJC |

Spring is undoubtedly in the air and on the calendar. And what is spring without a good round of spring cleaning! CJC is certainly in need of some sprucing up, and we will begin by cleaning the kitchen and adjacent areas for Passover on consecutive Sunday mornings - March 21 and 28. Volunteers are welcome and needed, so please come to work out that spring cleaning urge, and to learn more about the laws and customs of Passover as well. See Read More for Details!

As many of you might know, a family in our community, Lisa, Brian, Christopher, Matthew and Jessica Goetchius, lost their home to a late night fire on December 18, 2009. The community has ralled around to assist them during this trying time.Right now, Lisa and Brian need the following:

An Evening of Comedy |

On Saturday, March 6, 2010, 5 synagogues are hosting an evening of comedy and laughter at the Yorktown Jewish Center.
The admission price is $25.00 per person, which includes an entire night of comedy, gala dessert buffet and a penny social with gift certificates.
