The Croton Jewish Center is a Conservative, egalitarian congregation. Our community is open to all. Please join us for Shabbat services every Saturday morning. Our services employ a traditional Hebrew liturgy, a range of beautiful and spirited melodies, broad congregational participation, and learned and engaging divrei Torah. Or join us for one of our many social activities. Our community reflects, and celebrates, the rich diversity of our neighborhood: couples and singles, old and young, professionals and blue-collar workers, professors and students, observant and secular, knowledgeable and beginners, straight and gay. We welcome all.
Our members are committed to the ideals of chesed (loving kindness), diversity, fellowship, and the values of Jewish life. Our members are our most cherished resource. We strive to create a traditionally genuine but unstuffy atmosphere so that all Jews, whether from highly traditional upbringing or no Jewish background at all, feel comfortable, valued, and inspired to learn and worship. To those of you in the the Cortlandt Manor and greater Croton community who have passed through these doors in the past or shared in a mincha, we ask you to come by and take another look. Take a part in the CJC. Bring your spirit, bring your energy, bring your knowledge. We welcome you back with open arms.
